My college roommate is killing me with the adorableness of her Little Disney and Little Oz characters! Christina is very talented, go check out some more of her work!
A lot has been going on since the beginning of May: College graduation and moving to Florida, just to name a couple (and my birthday is in one week)!
Unfortunately, the Internet is down at my mom’s and I’m reduced to using my phone to make posts and check emails (have I mentioned the insanely slow connection it has?), so that means looking for a job and emailing potential employers is going to have to sit on the back burner for just a little bit. I was also hoping to post a bunch of work from my last semester at Antonelli, but that too will have to wait.
Hopefully the Internet situation is fixed soon so I can get some new work posted and start searching for job leads. If you or anyone you know is looking for a graphic designer in the New Port Richey area, please send me a message on here, or check out Kay Renee Design on Facebook!
I graduated from college.
I can not believe that I just got BEST IN SHOW at my school’s design competition! I’m still in total shock!
Feeling creative tonight, cranking out a bunch of work lately.
This isn’t my best, but not bad for only taking fifteen minutes to do it.
Another sneak peak! This time it’s of some lotion bottle labels.
They’re still in the beginning stages, so bare with me here! I’m trying to concentrate more on hand done type, something I’ve never really done before. It’s a fun end of the school year project to keep my busy the last couple weeks of school, but I’m really hoping to improve on my typography skills.
Here is a sneak peak of my design version of my resume (the whole thing will be later posted on my WordPress blog, so be sure to check it out).
The concept behind this is that it is two portraits of myself. You have the artsy, creative version of myself vs. the business, professional version of myself. It shows that I can be creative and have fun, but at the same time I am serious about what I do, and I can get the job done.
Here is a holiday gift bag I designed for Dandelion!
Apologies for the crappy web cam quality photos! I’m still working on editing the professionally shot photos my friend took for me (to be posted another time, along with a flattened look at the design).
Just a few days over a month until the semester is over and there is so much going on. I’ve been working hard on finishing my resume and portfolio pages in time for the career fair on April 27th. I’m so beyond nervous to show all these professionals my portfolio, let alone talk to them (I’m way too shy when I first meet a person).
But I’m hoping to get some new stuff posted on here shortly. Maybe I’ll have some down time this weekend to get some posts up.
It’s going to be a blast, I’m sure.
